Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Mentiko subscriptions operated by Kollabor AI.

1. Subscription Billing

Mentiko subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Your billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe and renews on the same date each month.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • You retain access to your Mentiko instance until the end of the paid period.
  • After the billing period ends, your instance will be suspended.
  • Instance data is retained for 30 days after suspension, then permanently deleted.

3. Refunds

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

Within 7 days of first subscription

If you are a new customer and request a refund within 7 days of your first payment, we will issue a full refund. Email support@mentiko.com with your account email and reason for the refund.

Service outages

If your Mentiko instance experiences significant downtime (more than 24 consecutive hours) due to issues on our end, you may request a prorated credit for the affected period.

Billing errors

If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount, charge after cancellation), contact us and we will correct the error and issue a refund promptly.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Partial months of service after the 7-day window
  • Downtime caused by your own configuration or third-party API issues
  • Account suspension due to Terms of Service violations
  • Third-party API costs incurred through your instance (these are billed directly by those providers)

5. How to Request a Refund

Email support@mentiko.com with:

  • Your account email address
  • The reason for your refund request
  • Any relevant details (dates, transaction IDs)

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

6. Reactivation

If you cancel and later want to return, you can resubscribe at any time. If your data retention period (30 days) has not expired, we may be able to restore your previous instance. After 30 days, you will need to set up a new instance.
